Adani Group, Bharti Airtel, Genpact and ZF Friedrichshafen are among 17 companies planning treasury centres at Gujarat’s GIFT City, as India’s flagship financial hub lures firms from Singapore and other offshore locations with 20-year tax holidays, relaxed regulations, cheaper funding and new rules allowing interest on current account balances.
