After GST reforms, firming rural & urban demand to lift Hindustan Unilever volumes

Hindustan Unilever faced a subdued September quarter. Prolonged monsoon and Goods and Services Tax changes impacted performance. However, the company anticipates stronger growth in the latter half of the fiscal year. Improved rural and urban demand, along with GST normalisation, are expected to drive this recovery. The demerger of the ice cream business will also support profitability.
