Once rivals, Pakistan and Bangladesh are slowly emerging as friends and partners. Starting January 29, Dhaka will resume direct flights to Karachi — a first since 2012. Moreover, defence ties are also improving with the Muhammad Yunus-led nation expressing ‘potential interest’ in procuring the JF-17 fighter aircraft from Pakistan.
