Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium was scheduled to host key matches in the ICC Women's World Cup, including the tournament opener between co-hosts India and Sri Lanka. The tragic stampede at the venue in June, however, has cast a shadow on the iconic venue and its ability to host games in the mega event.
