Despite managing a budget worth hundreds of crores, BNCMC has no ambulance of its own, forcing patients to depend on expensive private operators during emergencies. With only two 108 ambulances serving the region, concerns over emergency preparedness have grown. Health officials and citizens have urged the civic body to procure ambulances immediately.
