PhonePe cofounders Sameer Nigam and Rahul Chari sold shares worth Rs 3,937 crore ($430 million) to US private equity firm General Atlantic ahead of the company’s IPO. The IPO, entirely an offer for sale, will allow partial exits for Walmart and full exits for Microsoft and Tiger Global. PhonePe is expected to be valued at around $15 billion.
