Chennai Metro turns ‘green corridor’ to transport donor lungs for transplant

In a first for Tamil Nadu, Chennai Metro Rail facilitated the rapid transport of a donor lung from Bengaluru to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, in just 21 minutes on Saturday, marking a milestone in inter-state organ transport under the “One Nation One Organ” initiative.
