DRDO Advances Indigenous Semiconductor Technology Ahead Of ESTIC 2025

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has made significant progress in indigenous semiconductor technology, developing 4-inch Silicon Carbide wafers and Gallium Nitride transistors. DRDO will lead sessions at ESTIC 2025, where PM Modi launched a Rs 1 lakh crore fund to boost private sector R&D, aiming to strengthen India’s science and technology ecosystem.
