Dyal Singh Public School, Karnal holds DSPS MUN 1.0

A two-day event, DSPS MUN 1.0 (Model United Nations), was organised at the school. More than 130 students from various schools participated in the conference and showcased their talent, leadership qualities, confidence and intellectual abilities. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by chairperson Anita Raina as the chief guest. The conference featured several committees, including the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Security Council (UNSC), United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) and International Press (IP). Students participated in discussions and debates on various national and international issues, presenting their perspectives with remarkable confidence and clarity. During the closing ceremony, students, who delivered outstanding performances, were honoured and appreciated for their achievements. Principal Shalini Narang said, 'DSPS MUN 1.0 proved to be a wonderful learning experience for students. Such events not only enhance confidence but also develop awareness, analytical thinking and a broader global perspective among young minds.' The valedictory ceremony was graced by the General Manager of the Dyal Singh College Trust Society, Brigadier Randhir Singh, as the guest of honour.
