Frozen foods are often seen as less healthy than fresh ones, but the difference is not so clear-cut. Freezing itself does not significantly reduce nutrition, and in some cases, frozen fruits and vegetables can retain nutrients better when preserved at peak ripeness. However, the health impact largely depends on how the food is processed, as many frozen meals contain high sodium, unhealthy fats and additives. Fresh foods also lose nutrients over time if not consumed quickly.
