GIC Re expects domestic business growth of 8

Hitesh Joshi, Chairman & Managing Director of GIC Re, is unfazed by the entry of new reinsurance players into India, adding that greater competition will strengthen GIFT City as a reinsurance hub. He also said the company's improving underwriting performance and stronger balance sheet position it well to sustain growth.
