Amarjeet Singh Chawla, 70, who lost his eyesight and underwent heart surgery, completed his 100th 10-kilometre run in Powai on January 11. Known as ‘Sporty Sikh’, he has run 6 ultra marathons and 162 half marathons. Supported by three escorts, he crossed the finish line in tears, inspiring many with his determination to keep running despite health challenges.
