India looks beyond Washington, Moscow for its defence needs

India has gone beyond its comfort zones to build relationships including signing military pacts with several countries. It has learnt important lessons from the recent wars leading to a diversification in its military and technology sharing partnerships with Germany, Japan, South Korea and the UAE, instead of depending on the US and Russia
