India remains the world’s strongest long-term market story: Jefferies’ Christopher Wood at ET WLF

Christopher Wood, Global Head of Equity Strategy at Jefferies, said India is “the best stock market in the long-term stock market story in the world,” even as valuations stay high and private sector investment lags. Speaking at the ET World Leaders Forum on Asias equity outlook, he outlined Indias strengths in wealth management, steady fund inflows and easing interest rates, while warning of risks in the United States from tariffs, short-term debt funding, and an AI investment bubble.
