India to appoint Defence Attache in Mauritius soon; oil, gas supply pact in final stages: EAM Jaishankar

India will soon position a Defence Attache in Mauritius and is in the final stages of concluding a government-to-government agreement for the supply of oil and gas to the island nation amid the energy crisis due to the conflict in West Asia, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced on Thursday.
