India warns Italy: No defence tech for Pakistan

India and Italy are boosting defense ties. They are looking at joint development of new weapons. India made it clear that defense technology must not go to Pakistan. Italy is open to co-developing systems exclusively with Indian companies. Both nations also discussed regional security matters. A plan for military cooperation until 2027 was exchanged.
