India has bid to host the 2028 Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in Bhubaneswar and the 2026 Asian Relays. The Athletics Federation of India plans to use the Kalinga Stadium, boasting state-of-the-art facilities, for the indoor event, while the relay venue is yet to be chosen.
