India's First Tunnel Hood Technology Debuts On Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train To Curb Pressure Waves And Noise

The Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train project has introduced tunnel hood technology for the first time in India to enhance safety, comfort and environmental performance, officials said. Installed at tunnel entrances and exits, the system helps manage air pressure generated by trains travelling over 300 kmph. It reduces tunnel boom, noise and environmental impact along the high-speed rail corridor.
