It’s official: Ahmedabad formally awarded hosting rights of 2030 CWG

Ahmedabad, India will host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, marking the return of the event to India after 20 years. The decision was made by the Commonwealth Sport’s General Assembly, following a recommendation by the Executive Board. The Games will feature 15-17 disciplines and Ahmedabad is also in the running to host the Olympics.
