June Assembly Session, In `Breach Of Law’, Says Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit

Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit has termed the June 19–20 Assembly session “in breach of law and procedure”, questioning the legality of four Bills passed, including the Gurbani broadcast Bill. In a letter to CM Bhagwant Mann, he cited legal advice and said he may seek the Attorney General’s opinion or refer the Bills to the President, escalating tensions.
