Khaleda Zia dies: Khaleda Zia has passed away at the age of 80. She succumbed to her many illnesses, breathing her last at 6 am in Dhaka’s Evercare Hospital. She leaves behind a storied legacy: Khaleda Zia not only served as Bangladesh’s prime minister for three terms, between 1991 and 1996 and 2001 and 2006, but also became only the second woman to lead a Muslim-led nation. Her rivalry with Sheikh Hasina will never be forgotten
