The Maharashtra FDA has suspended food business licences of six hotels, restaurants, a bakery and a club in Mumbai after inspections revealed serious hygiene violations, including rat and cockroach infestation, expired food items and unsafe kitchens. The action was taken under a special drive ordered by FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe to enforce strict food safety compliance across the city.
