Maharashtra Launches Arunoday Sickle Cell Campaign In Thane Under National Eradication Mission

The Maharashtra government will implement the Arunoday Sickle Cell Anemia Special Campaign in Thane from January 15 to February 7, 2026. The drive aims to screen citizens aged 0–40 years under the National Sickle Cell Anemia Eradication Mission. Free tests, treatment, counselling and financial assistance will be provided through public health facilities across the district.
