Indian equity markets ended in the red with Nifty 50 declining 0.28% to 24,119.30 and Sensex dropping 0.24% to 77,269.40. Energy sector emerged as the biggest laggard, plummeting 14.08%, while Commercial Services and Logistics also faced significant pressure.
