MCM DAV athletes shine bright

Students of MCM DAV Public School, Baghni, delivered an outstanding performance at the DAV Cluster-V Sports Meet 2026, held at DAV Public School, Hamirpur. The school emerged as one of the top-performing institutions by securing an impressive tally of 42 gold, 29 silver and 10 bronze medals. Adding another feather to its cap, the school won the overall championship trophy in the U-14 boys', U-14 girls' and U-19 boys' categories, reflecting the consistent performance, dedication and sporting excellence of its athletes throughout the championship. A special highlight of the meet was the recognition of three MCM DAV athletes as best athletes in their respective categories. Adhrav was honoured as the best athlete in the U-14 boys' category, Shivam Rana received the Best Athlete award in the U-14 girls' category and Divakar was adjudged the Best Athlete in the U-17 boys' category for their outstanding all-round performances. Principal Anoop Chauhan said, 'The remarkable achievements of our students are a result of their dedication, discipline, perseverance and true sporting spirit. Their success has brought immense pride to the school and reflects their commitment towards excellence. I congratulate all the winners and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.'
