Ministry acts on Gopichand-led Task Force's suggestions; set to form NCAB for coaches

India is set to create a National Coach Accreditation Board. This body will standardize coaching quality across the nation. Sports science integration is also planned. The Sports Ministry is preparing a roadmap for its implementation. Additionally, over 700 vacant coaching slots in the Sports Authority of India will be filled. A high-altitude training center is also coming up in Shillong.
