In Dhar, Women’s Congress leader Preeti Maheshwari demanded immediate implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill, alleging delays by the BJP-led Centre. She accused the government of using delimitation and census excuses to postpone 33% reservation in the Lok Sabha. The Congress also called for inclusion of OBC women and warned of a statewide awareness campaign.
