Nippon Paint has reportedly made new offers for AkzoNobel's decorative paints unit. The latest proposal values the business at approximately seven point five billion euros. AkzoNobel's management has not engaged with Nippon Paint regarding this offer. Instead, AkzoNobel is proceeding with a planned merger with Axalta.
