Pakistan, Egypt agree to boost economic, defence ties

Pakistan and Egypt are set to boost their relationship. Ministers met in Islamabad to strengthen economic, commercial, cultural, and defense cooperation. Discussions covered regional conflicts and trade. Both nations will establish business councils and forums to promote private sector engagement. Political consultations are planned for early 2026. Egypt will also increase scholarships for Pakistani students.
