Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for his Independence Day greetings, stressing Indias commitment to closer ties and wishing Ukraine peace and prosperity. Zelenskyy highlighted shared values and called on India to support global peace efforts while expressing hope for greater cooperation in science, trade and culture. His message coincided with the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska, which ended without a deal on Ukraine.
