Proposed Hubballi-Ankola railway line unlikely to get approval from wildlife board

State Wildlife Board member Vaishali Kulkarni said that despite coordinated efforts by forest officials in association with environmental activists and the general public, rapid urbanisation had resulted in increasing human intrusion into wildlife habitats, resulting in recurrence of human-animal conflict.
