Railways eases parcel service norms to boost participation

Indian Railways has eased its parcel service rules. This allows more companies to lease train space and become aggregators. Minimum revenue requirements for tenders have been removed. The fee for freight forwarders has also been halved. These changes aim to boost parcel space use. Indian Railways is focusing on expanding its parcel business. A new door-to-door service was recently launched.
