Samsung begins manufacturing laptops in India

Samsung has begun laptop production in India. The manufacturing is taking place at their Greater Noida factory. This expands Samsung's existing Indian manufacturing, which includes phones and tablets. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw met with Samsung executives. He noted Samsung's expansion of advanced technology manufacturing in India. Samsung's plant was established in India in 1996.
