SEBI Scraps IRRA Trading Backup Platform, Stronger Tech Systems Make Facility Redundant

SEBI has discontinued the Investor Risk Reduction Access (IRRA) platform with immediate effect after stock exchanges reported that brokers were no longer using it. The regulator said improved technology systems, stronger cybersecurity frameworks and better disaster recovery mechanisms have significantly reduced the need for the backup trading platform.
