St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Chandigarh organised Summer Internship Programme 3.0 under the aegis of the Student Well-Being Policy Council. The five-day programme, conceived by Principal Monica Chawla, offered students a unique opportunity to strengthen their emotional well-being, creativity, collaboration and leadership through a series of thoughtfully designed experiences. The programme commenced with interactive sessions based on Martin Seligman’s PERMA Model, encouraging students to reflect on emotional well-being, academic challenges, digital habits and healthy peer relationships. Building on these discussions, participants channelled their ideas into creative environmental awareness campaigns through e-posters, podcasts, reels and an original rap composition, which will feature in the school’s forthcoming Green Impact Calendar 2026–27. Adding an artistic dimension to the internship, the Creative Corners Crew transformed the Chess, Boxing and Taekwondo corridors through airbrushing, creating vibrant murals celebrating discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship. The programme also featured a policy presentation session during which students confidently shared practical recommendations to strengthen student well-being. These included reviving the Anti-Bullying Squad, introducing an Anonymous Heavy Feelings Box, reducing the burden of heavy school bags and enhancing indoor sports facilities during the monsoon season. The internship concluded with peer reflections, certificate presentations and a warm farewell, marking the successful completion of a week filled with learning, creativity and personal growth. The school management appreciated the efforts of the Student Well-Being Policy Council, mentors and students in making the programme a success. Appreciating the participants, the management said, “It has been inspiring to witness our students embrace every opportunity with confidence, curiosity and sincerity. We congratulate every participant for making this programme a truly rewarding experience.”
