State cricket association gets new body sans president

ne would expect a mad rush among eligible candidates to head the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), the richest and the most influential sports body of the state. However, not a single nomination was filed for the post of president in the HPCA elections held in Dharamsala on Saturday. The other office-bearers were chosen unanimously – Vijay Kumar as vice-president, Manuj Sharma as secretary, Vishal Sharma as joint secretary and Vikram Singh as treasurer.
