Talks on with RBI, PSBs for Bigger Public Banks: FM

The Centre is discussing with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and lenders it owns on the need for bigger state-run banks, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said Thursday, pointing to the start of a consultative process that would create banking behemoths capable of undergirding colossal infrastructure-funding requirements.
