At its 48th Annual General Meeting, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries announced a significant strategic pivot towards artificial intelligence (AI), including the formation of a new subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence, and deepened partnerships with Google and Meta. The company plans to build giga-watt scale, AI-ready data centers powered by green energy in Jamnagar. This tech push complements Reliance's existing digital business under Jio and ambitious new energy initiatives in solar, battery, green hydrogen, and compressed biogas, aiming to make India a leader in both AI and sustainable energy.
