Amid linking Tylenol, a paracetamol, to autism, Donald Trump and Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr also touted another drug as the answer to the neurodevelopmental disorder — leucovorin. This drug, also known as folinic acid, is currently used to counter the toxic effects of chemotherapy. Doctors, however, are sceptical about whether this medicine can truly be a ‘cure’ for autism
