Vashu Bhagnani’s Puja Entertainment Files Suit Against Ramesh Taurani-led Tips Industries Over Using Songs From 1999 Movie

Puja Entertainment has filed a ₹400 crore suit in the Bombay High Court against Tips Industries, David Dhawan and others over alleged unauthorised use of “Biwi No 1” songs in Varun Dhawan’s “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai”. The producer sought urgent relief to halt the film’s June 5 release, claiming repeated objections over music rights were ignored by the defendants.
