A new international study published in Nature Communications suggests that creative activities may help keep the brain biologically younger and delay cognitive decline. Researchers from 13 countries analysed brain data from over 1,400 adults and found that hobbies like music, painting, dancing or even strategy video games improve neural networks linked to attention, movement and problem solving. Notably, beginners also showed rapid gains after short creative training. Experts say creativity could be as powerful for brain health as diet or exercise.
