West Bengal Cabinet Approves Series Of Major Administrative, Security, & Welfare Decisions

The Bengal Cabinet approved key decisions including expansion of the subsidised food programme ‘Ma Ahar’ with 110 new centres, taking the total to 500. It also cleared a 31.905-acre border land transfer across Malda, Nadia and Cooch Behar. June 20 will be observed as West Bengal Day, and Surojit Nath Mitra was appointed Advocate General. Other administrative updates were also discussed.
